Refund policy

Veyra & Co – Return & Refund Policy (South Africa)

Governing Law: Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and other applicable South African legislation
Applies To: All products sold by Veyra & Co


1. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If a product is received damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer must:

  1. Contact Veyra & Co within 48 hours of delivery

  2. Provide proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order confirmation)

  3. Provide documented proof of the issue, which may include:

    • Clear photos of the product

    • Photos of the packaging and delivery label

    • A short written description of the defect or damage

  4. Await written approval before returning the product

Claims without documented proof or reported after 48 hours may be rejected.


2. Return Process

  1. Contact customer support via email

  2. Provide purchase proof and documented evidence of the issue

  3. Package the product securely to prevent further damage

  4. Ship only after receiving written approval from Veyra & Co


3. Refunds, Replacements, and Repairs

  • Refunds for approved claims will be processed within 14–21 business days using the original payment method

  • Delivery fees are refundable only where required by law

  • For repairs or replacements:

    • Repairs are conducted at no cost

    • If repaired goods fail again within a reasonable period, the customer may choose a refund or replacement


4. Voluntary Goodwill Returns (Change-of-Mind)

Veyra & Co may offer goodwill returns for change-of-mind, under strict conditions:

  • Product must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging

  • Return request is made within 14 calendar days of delivery

  • Proof of purchase must be provided

Conditions:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • A restocking or handling fee may apply

  • Products that have been used, installed, or opened cannot be returned

This is a voluntary policy and separate from statutory rights.


5. Exclusions

The following are not covered for any return or refund:

  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect

  • Incorrect installation or assembly

  • Alteration, modification, or disassembly

  • External factors (e.g., accidents, environmental damage, power surges)

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Consumable or perishable components (e.g., batteries, filters, cartridges, media)

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality


6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veyra & Co shall not be liable for:

  • Installation, assembly, or professional service costs

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Damage caused by misuse or failure to follow instructions

  • Consumable or perishable component performance

This limitation does not override statutory rights under the CPA.


7. Consumer Rights

  • Consumers retain all rights under the CPA, including remedies for defective goods

  • Complaints may be lodged with the National Consumer Commission (NCC) if statutory rights are infringed
